ethan allen coffee table
this dumb thing was as infuriating as a daggum chair!! i mean….er….uh…. (imagine a pleasant voice like cinderella used even when the step sisters were awful to her) “this is a lovely coffee table! absolutely lovely! and it is ready for you to take home!”
okay…normal voice now! this was tricky because of all the spindles. i love the way they look but they can be a pain to paint!! and the ones in the center in the middle?? well…i said “poop!” TWICE while i was trying to get those perfect!! then i distressed the piece and stood back and said “poop” for a third time! this piece just didn’t look good distressed. too busy! i like it just black…the spindles and little drawer in the front and rounded edges and cute little feet just need to be the focal point all on their own!! this is a solid wood piece by ethan allen and it’s way cool in person.
this piece still available for $87 (and i’ll even dust it! – i am JUST NOW noticing all the dust in these photos! yipes!)
