Purse-onally Yours!

my husband is amazing – there are lots of reasons that i won’t go into…but one that i’d like to share is his ability to write. he has written 5 adorable children’s books that we are in the process of trying to get published. (so if anyone has any “in’s” in that area i am shamelessly begging you to help out – i’m even offering a bribe…choose any piece i have for sale…free! – is that illegal? if so, then i take it back – i’ll just give you a discount of about 100%) anyway – his books are charming – look for a future post that gives you a peek into just how charming!! what does this have to do with the awesome little tin purses i am posting??? i asked my talented man to come up with something i could use that describes the little purses and this is what i got:

i’m trying something new!!!

so i have decided that i’m gonna try and branch out a wee bit into accessories! why?, you ask? let me tell you! coupla reasons….
first of all – it just sounds like fun – and they say to “do what you love” (who are “they” anyway??) secondly – sometimes you wanna shop but you just don’t have the budget for a dresser… and i’m all about you shopping! hee hee
thirdly – some of these items could be shipped which is a cool option – hard to ship an armiore, but a picture frame? that’s do-able.
fourth – i think it’s an incredibly important part of making your home beautiful. does no good to buy a stunning nightstand and then put something ugly on it!
and lastly – there happens to be quite a bit of accessory junk out there waiting to be rethunk!!

so for my first accessory post i’m offering this set of three adorable handmade angels. i have a set and they sit out year round (and not once have i been asked if i ever plan on putting up my christmas decor) but they would be super darling with christmas coming up – and a really fun gift!! little wooden angels with wire halos and “screen” wings…shortest is 4 1/2 inches tall up to 6 1/2 inches for the tallest.
